By raising funds and providing volunteers, the Friends of the Library makes the difference between an average library and a great library! In addition to many volunteer hours spent at the library, the Friends of the Library purchase equipment, DVDs, children's books, adult books, books on CD, and materials for children's programs.
All money raised by the Friends of the Library is spent for library services that are available to the residents of Henderson County. The Friends really do make a difference. Apply by filling out the Friends Membership Application and mailing it, along with the membership fee, to the address listed at the bottom of the application.
We encourage all members to attend the meetings which are held on the first Wednesday of every odd month at 4:00.
